Dometic are aiming to recall motorhomes fitted with the following double door fridge freezers: RM7601, RM7605, RM7651, RM7655, RM7801, RM7805, RM7855, RMT7651, RMT7655, RMT7851, RMT7855
Model numbers can be found on the data plate inside the fridge.
Apparently, ‘inferior screws’ were used (reports suggested that they were too short) to retain the devices in the motorhome, and could break loose, with subsequent potential damage to gas pipes.
CEO of motorhome retailer The Brownhills Group Tom Booth has admitted that customer service at his company may have suffered do to a rapid growth, and has announced a 7-point improvement plan, including a “Talk to Tom” facility.

The Director General of the Camping and Caravanning Club, David Welsford, has died after a protracted illness.

The Caravan Club is taking part in the Lord Mayor’s show, in London on the 10th of November. They will be tugging three inflatables from their float.
